बदरी नारायण मंदिर जिसे बद्रीनाथ भी कहते हैं अलकनंदा नदी के किनारे उत्तराखंड राज्य में स्थित है। नर नारायण की गोद में बसा बद्रीनाथ नीलकण्ड पर्वत का पार्श्व भाग है। भगवान विष्णु को समर्पित यह मंदिर आदिगुरू शंकराचार्य द्वारा चारों धाम में से एक के रूप में स्थापित किया गया था। यह मंदिर तीन भागों में विभाजित है, गर्भगृह, दर्शनमण्डप और सभामण्डप। मंदिर परिसर में 15 मूर्तियां है, इनमें सब से प्रमुख है भगवान विष्णु की एक मीटर ऊंची काले पत्थर की प्रतिमा है। यहां भगवान विष्णु ध्यान मग्न मुद्रा में सुशोभित है। जिसके दाहिने ओर कुबेर लक्ष्मी और नारायण की मूर्तियां है। इसे धरती का वैकुंठ भी कहा जाता है।शंकराचार्य की व्यवस्था के अनुसार बद्रीनाथ मंदिर का मुख्य पुजारी दक्षिण भारत के केरल राज्य से होता है। मंदिर अप्रैल-मई से अक्टूबर-नवम्बर तक मंदिर दर्शनों के लिए खुला रहता है। बद्रीनाथ धाम में श्री बदरीनारायण भगवान के पांच स्वरूपों की पूजा अर्चना होती है। विष्णु के इन पांच रूपों को ‘पंच बद्री’ के नाम से जाना जाता है। बद्रीनाथ के मुख्य मंदिर के अलावा अन्य चार बद्रियों के मंदिर भी य...

Lakshmi was just 6 years old when her parents died of severe illness. Due to poverty they were unable to go to the local hospital. The little girl was left alone in this unfamiliar world with her elder brother and younger sister. Soon they moved to their relatives’ house but the children were badly treated by them. As a result Lakshmi’s elder brother ran away. Lakshmi took her younger sister and started living on the street. “I would do any kind of labour to feed myself and my sister. There were times when I even begged for food,” Lakshmi remembers with tears in her eyes. After two years Lakshmi’s maternal aunt came to know about their situation and brought the siblings with her. The aunt worked as bonded labour and earned less than Rupees 50 per day. Despite her willingness to support children, poverty forced her to look out for alternate ways. A Revolutionary Charge By Garhwal Woman  Wine Shops abolishment from Mountains to Plains , Women Protest on Revolutionary Terms After the orders given by Supreme Court, Wine Shops located near highways are being shifted to public places which turn on the heat . People specially the female part are on fire to protest  against this order . Many social assoiciations and opposition party i.e. Congress come in support of the people concern with this protest. However , party in charge i.e. BJP has declared to move slowly slowly in banishment of Wine shops in State . A report has stated that within 2 days of protest in Rudraprayag , more than 250 women came together and form groups and communities to fight against this issue .
